“Rick” L. Marion

Richard (Rick) Lee Marion Jr., 50, of Deltona, Fla. joined the Lord on Dec.6, 2010. He was born Sept. 8, 1960 to Richard and Hope Marion.



Rick was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He leaves behind his wife of 19 years, Colleen Marion, and a young daughter, Abigail Marion. Rick will be reunited in heaven with his mother, Hope June Marion. He is survived by his father, Richard Marion of Parkersburg; a brother, Scott F. Marion (Connie) of Belpre; and sister, Vickki Yudt (Michael) of Pennsboro, W.Va. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Matthew, Frank, and Tyler Marion, Brittany Hitchcock and Alyssa Yudt.



Rick was employed by Country Pure Foods in Deland, Fla. for 24 years. Before that, he worked for the family business, Sure Fire Gun Shop, in Parkersburg. He is a 1978 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed vacationing and spending time with his family.



Rick will be forever remembered for his trademark greeting: "What's goin' on?" No matter what your mood, his greeting never failed to bring a smile to your face. His presence will be greatly missed by his family and friends.



Friends and family are invited to honor his memory at the Baldauff Funeral Home, 21233 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, Fla. on Dec. 11, 2010.



Family viewing will be 11 a.m. Public viewing is from noon-2 p.m. Service will be at 2 p.m.
