Books I read since joining Vr in April.
PET SEMATARY; Stephen King. Yes going back and reading some old favourite. Still a good read.
WHITE VIPER; Terrence Strong. A very good book I thought. Little thinggo about it. Do you find a man to send beyond the reach of International law? To fight state tyranny terrorism and traffickers in the world's deadliest narcotics?
MINE; ROBERT R. McCAMMON. A very good read. Every mother's nightmare brought to screaming life....... Laura Clayborne has just found out her husband is cheating on her, goes into hospital to give birth to thier child. It is kidnapped from the hospital. Follow the kidnappers and Laura path.
Cujo: Stephen King. As I said going back and reading some of the all time fav. Yes you cant bet them. And yes still as good as I remember.
THE EYE OF RA: Michael Asher. Well not much to say on this one cant say I enjoyed cant say I hated it.
WAITING IN THE WINGS; Donna Hay. A very qiuck and simple read and romance but good for a change.
Circumstantial Evidence: Annette Broadrick. Picked this up tp read while waiting for an appiontment. I havent read a good old fashioned M&B book for ages so yeah it was ok.
WATER OF DEATH; Paul Johnston.Edinburgh 2025 an almost crime free oasis surronded by anarchic states. Global warming warming has turned summer into a Big heat and water is rationed like almost everything else. I got half through this and give up to futureama for me never got into it from the start. Cant say its been one of my favourties.
TILL THE REAL THING COMES ALONG; IRIS RAINER DART. Not a normal book I would read but a very good book to read I enjoyed it. A female comedy writer stuggling to meet ends meet with a bad luck falls in love and this come together.
INHERTANCE; Judith Micheal. Must say I loved this and I would read any thing by her. Murder mystery love secretacy and revenge.
On The Street Where You Live: Mary Higgins Clark.
I got this one on an audio book to listen to last time I went to my parents house. I love MHC and this is no different a fab book. 8 hours 44 mins but worth it.
DARKFALL; STEPHEN LAWS. All I can say is what a great read loved to bits. Kinda like a Stephen King book with a twist for all those who like horror with a twist its great.
GIDEON; STEPHEN LAWS. For those who like a book with a vampire in it . A good read. All I can say is keep a eye out for him.
GHOST TRAIN; STEHEN LAWS. (not a good idea to read so many books by the same author) Took awhile to get into this one but when i did i enjoyed it.
MONSTER and DIE SOFTLY; Christopher Pike.
Two for the price of one. Very interesting reads differAnt to each other but I liked them.
KISS; JILL MANSEL. A very good read after all the above books bit of a romance but not Mills & Boon style but very good. Really about the life of Izzy van Asch and her daughter Katerina. New friend Gina and there love lifes.
ISALND FLAME; KAREN ROBARDS. If you like pirates and things set in that time frame a book for you. A romance with fights rapes kidnapping etc.
OFF SEASON; JACK KETCHUM. I really enjoyed this book a bit eerie plenty of blood and guts and all between. A quote from Stephen King on the front cover " Ketchum is a kind of hero to those of us who write tales of terror and suspense"
THE LOVE KILLERS; JACKIE COLLINS. I like her books and this is her trade mark style.
THE SERVANTS OF TWILIGHT; LEIGH NICHOLS. I got this book because i loved books by Leigh but I think this is a differant one. About a crazy old woman who has her own cult trying to kill a 6 y o boy> It was was rather good.
MONSOON; DI MORRISSEY; Loved it to bits .About two guys who travell around vietnam and meet up with an older guy he fought there and how there lives intertwin. Great read.
JIMMY BUFFETT; WHERE IS JOE MERCHANR? all I can say is Boring boring boring read half very slowy then as I got Monsooon dropped it. hOW IT WON New York Times bestseller has me stumped.
MARY HIGGINS CLARK; WEEP NO MORE MY LADY.
What can I say I love MHC books.
NORA KELLEY; BAD CHEMISTRY; A slow murder book. With love. Not much to write about.
