A never-ending war erupted that divided the humans apart. Sobbing, screaming, bleeding, and killing.
A number of innocents trapped in the wrath of those who seek vengeance.
I hold the key to setting them free.
But in order to do so, I must sacrifice my soul.
There is just one problem.
As a prophet, I am forced to choose which side to fight for.
Thousands are going to suffer if my choice doesn't pick the right one."

I was nothing but a tool,
scratch that, more like a toy.
You used me, then tossed me aside,
and for the life of me, I couldn't understand why.
I started to really care about you,
which is, in fact, true.
We aren't kids anymore,
We're grown, adults.
I believed in you,
placing my trust within your grasp.
8 years since High school,
it's been the same song and dance.
My heart was torn,
practically shattered from before, all due to my past.
I risked it and decided to give you a chance.
I got attached and told you to your face.
Though knowing you,
You just run off
like a scared little lamb.
Then I pieced it together,
You didn't give a damn.
I was just a means to an end, but that much I've learned.
And on a black and white board,
the player strikes for a turn.
My head starts spinning in confusion,
Whether to move forward or go back.
Although a sudden realization dawned
that I was the gullible, naive little pawn,
In your twisted game of chess.
I wrote this five years ago during a painful time in my life
