I'm just not feeling it here tonight, maybe because the Newness has finally worn off...no more fresh car smell...no more new shoe smell,

I suppose I will have to find something entertaining,I wonder if there will be any Halloween contest on this site I know some sites do this for the seasons or holidays, no matter I think I will go and google for a few

I've noticed lots of Halloween and Xmas stuff already in the stores but I don't see no thanksgiving things anywhere, perhaps it's not that popular or that big of a money maker, retail really knows how to rush things a long and in some cases even ruin the meaning of certain holidays

I agree. I know it is hard times for America and the world. If we slow down and look about us we realize that there is so much to be thankful for. I believe that sometimes our Higher Power may feel we are ungrateful for the world he has given us. We are the ones that mess things up. I do believe our world and planet is still such a beautiful gift.

Thanksgiving decorations are generally a combination of fall and Halloween decorations with the color schemes being those of the turning leaf; orange, brown, black, yellow and red. The more politically correct our nation becomes the more it apologizes for it's history. I read that the Christopher Columbus Geico advertisement was pulled in some places in deference to wounded Native American feelings.

It could be the reason for not so many Thanksgiving decorations being seen is fear of being showcased as a company that capitalizes on genocide. I know, it's stupid but that is life these United States.

I've done many different types of things in hobbies and in trades, some things I have stuck with for years and others only for a few months, there are still many things I want to try and explore my talents with and the next thing I believe will be tattooing, that is one thing I have always wanted to try

I'm hoping that Romney does not become president, I like the one we have now though at first he was not my cup of tea but I think that was only because of him being black, he has proved himself very well and I believe he would do even better given the chance to have a second term of presidency

I don't know if either one of them could be

trusted, but I watched some of the debate

last night, and I am leaning more to Obama,

and I agree with you, if we gave him another

chance, he would do even better. I feel he

seems more sincere.
