As most people do, I have a best friend, or so I've come to call her. I'm not so sure about the whole "best" part anymore. Lately she's become totally obsessed with her phone and thats the only way I can talk to her; by texting.



I hate texting.



She has become so distant, as though some people don't exsist... like me. But the people she supposedly just wants gone and gone forever, she never quits talking about.



I first began to worry about her when I was going through a tough time and I asked her to go on a walk with me. Just around town a little, so we could have a good conversation. I needed to get things off my chest. When I texted her she said she was busy. When I asked what she was doing, she told me she was hanging out with this girl. Okay, just hanging out is fine, unless you know that the person your so-called "best freind" is hanging out with is a total whore who is corrupt and corrupts other people's lives. Plus, the girl hated me, and I knew she was trying to rub it off on my "best" friend.



Eventually, the whore got to be out of the picture. She told my friend that she hated her and never wanted to talk to her "ever, ever, ever again."



Lately when I ask her to hang out, I always suggested a walk. She has this absolutely adorable dog that she was SOOO excited to get. Then the dog got pregnant, the puppies were born, weaned, and the dog got put on a chain out in their back yard. Just like the other ones. So I suggested she took her dog too. "She needs a walk. Mine needs a walk to. Lets walk them together!"



And I never ask unless I think its warm enough to bear. So thats what I did. And surprisingly, she said she wanted to go! She just had a few things to do, then we could go.



When she got back in touch after she was finished, she said "Its too cold. Why don't we go to your house and I'll send you ringtones!" It most definately wasn't "too cold."



No joke. Her life revolves around her phone.



I'm really hoping things clear up with her. Maybe I should just snap her phone in half and run over it. Then things might get back to normal.
