As I step outside,
in to the hot air,
it fills my lungs with a burning,
letting me know it's there.
The sun shines down,
raising the heat,
a humid haze beginning to clear,
as the morning sun burns through.
The beading on the grass,
glinting in the sunlight,
the moisture going back up in to the clouds,
preparing itself for the next summer storm.
A thunder rolls the distance,
a flash off to the side,
down comes the new rain of another day,
falling down around in a moisture haze.
It passes by,
the ground again wet,
a new summer air filling the sky,
a new summer air in which to fly.

I like the imagery you create with your words in this poem. My boyfriend just said it reminds him of Australia. :)
