Christmas is almost here, and I got myself a new chair. I have never seen one like it before... but I googled and of course found more, lol... It was on clearance, and I further got another $50 off due to a mark on the seat (that was easily washed away). Big score! I always said I wanted my home to feel like a proper haven to walk into and shut the wild world away. I am getting closer and closer to that. I sleep better in this house than anywhere I have ever lived- even though my sleep still isn't as good as it should be.

All signs point to the VA covering my master's degree. Just one more year until that adventure begins! If they don't cover it, school loans it is. The school has me set to begin the first week after I complete my screenwriting degree. Then, a master's degree in Creative Writing. I feel like this was meant to be- and really hope everything stays on course!

How exciting (both the chair and the schooling)! I bet your home is absolutely cozy and inviting, and I am still envious of your kitchen! Do you have anything special planned for Christmas dinner? :D

I'm still tired from all the stuff I did for Thanksgiving. I have been thinking about making a healthy salad instead- that still has some holiday flavors in it.

So often I talk about “when I finish school”… and last week I made steps to pursue a Master’s degree in Creative Writing. If I can get the VA to approve the program, I will- if not… 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not getting a graduate degree won’t stop me from following the path. I’m just excited about the idea of studying at an even higher level- polishing this skill especially shiny.

I wish we still had “The Bloody Feather” - which was a journal-specific part of The Dark Network for a while. I liked using it. I created a profile just for it, anonymously, so I could talk about things I can’t really do here.
