I don’t know what everybody else can see – but I just took a screenshot of my profile because it’s already saying I’m 53, but I don’t turn 53 until Monday. 🤔

One day and a wake-up! I will be off to see the beautiful stars from a MUCH better bortle scale. 🤩

I can’t effectively explain how impactful this is for me. I started properly stargazing a few years ago- but I haven’t traveled since 2021, prior to that. So I’ve only been able to use my telescopes with this New Orleans sky (which is basically not seeing a damn thing). I focus on lunar viewing here when I can. I can get good views of that. But on Monday- I’ll be able to see a sky filled with stars. I haven’t seen a sky like that in well over 30 years as there’s so much light pollution here that you can only see a few stars at night. And I really mean a few.
