Another busy day..

18:27 Sep 29 2016
Times Read: 264

I was studying all day and I can barely keep my eyes open.

So much work for Uni.

I'm starting to like this site.I don't really get the whole thing of ''leveling up'' though, I can't find the point in it.But it's still fun when I manage to level up.

I'm planning on working on my profile more by writing more information about me and uploading pics like most people do with their profiles here. :D

i'd like to rest but I can't cause I'm about to walk my dog again..why does this dog bite so much and can't calm down not even for a minute?

\/.\/

aghh.

So, for all those who see this, if you could give me some advices if you want guys, I'd really appreciate that.

And I wouldn't normally share that but I've reached a point where I need to hear other people's opinions too.

How do you deal with someone who's been stalking you online?

And harassing you through the internet? :/

I've been dealing with this for months and it's starting to freak me out, so anyone who wants to give me some advices please feel free to leave your comments :/..

Most social media outlets give you the option of blocking people

ChristyBlue

17:44 Sep 25 2016

I've tried that but the same person keeps coming back with different profiles and accounts

Well I would give yourself a spiritual name. One that either repreents you or you feel is a good fit name. And start your personal social medias on that. And before they even get to find you again you block them so they never can. Make sure all you accounts don't show up on other people's even with our friending you or anything. And never post where you are until after you have left that place so no one can track you or even rob your home while your gone. And watch what is in your pictures. Some companies only exist and one place and when you lol it up they can find your location. Be stern don't be scared be domaniant and very be afaid to take Megan action when you know you have a right.

well that's the thing, I've changed my name many times, I've also changed my profile settings so he won't be able to see my posts, and every time that person comes back and I block him, he keeps creating more and more profiles, and he's doing that like super fast. And that has been happening for a while now, not to mention that he knows personal stuff about me and I don't know how.

So it's pretty scary.I've tried almost anything but nothing seems to be working at all..but anyways, thanks for your advice :)..

Have you ever thought it may be someone you know? Just want to throw that out there. And if it's too big of a problem where you feel personally threatened there is the authority option. Its better to go to the last resort than to be in any type of danger

You know my opinion on that dear.

If he is an obsesed stalker sometimes only the police that is for internet crimes can do the job.

Sometimes that kind of people are the ones you dont know how they will act or what they will do next.

Just be careful hun

She's right, I've actually talked to the officers who do that in my town during training and if there's an event in which you are experiencing something like this it's the best option.

you're right, I've already tried to stop it though..If this goes on, I might have to go to the police..

Cyberstalking is a serious crime. Call the Police and tell them you want to file a criminal complaint. If convicted it is a Class C Felony.

Here are some facts:

1. If the person makes copies of pictures you taken of yourself and post them else where this is a violation of copyright laws. - Self-taken photos—nude or not—are owned by the photographer, so a website displaying those photos without consent is violating copyright. This would mean getting an attorney for a civil lawsuit.

There was even a issue once about a ape holding a camera and took a selfie did the ape own the picture or the owner of the gorilla.

Half of the states in the U.S. have also updated their laws to allow authorities to press charges against people engaging in cyber stalking and cyber harassment.

2. Even though they may not be helpful, tell the relevant authorities, and clearly tell this person to stop contacting YOU. Make sure you keep some type of proof you have told this person to stop.

3. Do NOT respond to messages or accept ANY online communications from this person after you tell them to stop.

4. Keep and document both within whatever app or system the messages are sent, and with screenshots in case the harasser tries to delete the messages themselves.

5. If the person is contacting you though free email or social-media accounts, you can and should file complaints with the company, report the messages to social media outlets, and block the person from your phone or friends list. Of course, social-media companies generally don't have a great record of dealing with abuse either. You might not get a great response from the companies that you report them too its still worth doing, if only to cover your bases.

(Currently there is a case before the US Supreme Court about a lady being hassled online by the ex. The Supreme Court’s decision on this case will solidify how the intent to threaten a person translates online. The case is important not only for clarifying the doctrine around true threats and free speech, but also “in pushing the conversation about law enforcement, prosecution, and threats to include a much more sophisticated understanding of the ways in which the Internet is not just a rally or a letter.)

6. Take advantage of privacy settings. With some social networking sites, you may be able to make your profile completely private simply by checking a box. With others, such as Facebook, privacy settings can be complex to navigate. Take advantage of added security settings. One of the best examples is two-factor authentication. When you enable this, your account will require you to provide something you know (like a password) with something you have (like a specific device). Therefore, if someone gets your password he or she will not be able to log in to the account without the specific code that the service sends to your device. You can find a list of sites offering two-factor authentication at https://twofactorauth.org/.

7. Limit how much personal information you post to your account. For example, you may not want to include contact information, your birth date, the city you were born in or names of family members.

8. Avoid online polls or quizzes, particularly those that ask for personal information.

9. Don't post photographs of your home that might indicate its location. For example, don't post photographs showing a house number or an identifying landmark in the background.

10. Interstate Stalking (1996; 2000). Section 2261A(1) makes it a federal crime to travel across state, tribal or international lines to stalk another person with " the intent to kill, injure, harass, or place under surveillance with intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate another person." Furthermore, the travel must result in reasonable fear of death, serious bodily injury or substantial emotional distress either to a victim or a victim's family member, spouse or intimate partner. Section 2261A(2) makes it a federal crime to stalk another person across state, tribal or international lines, using regular mail, email, or the Internet. The stalker must have the intent to kill, injure, harass, intimidate or cause substantial emotional distress, or to place a victim or a victim's family member, spouse or intimate partner in fear of death or serious bodily injury. (18 U.S.C. Section 2261A)

If this is going on on this site let us know. Also, if you have been blocking/changing your name already and he is still finding you you can request a court order for him to stop. if the doesn't press onto criminal harassment.

Ohh well. You did not mention which web site this "intruder" is harassing you. If you feel he or she can become Violent, report it to the FBI cyber crime unit. When you feel in your gut, that something is wrong, then is time to act. Remember, let say, this person is in Facebook and you delete your account and create another, if this intruder is friend of your friends, then everything will start again. My only concern is your safety and for sure, the Police will NOT do anything unless you have a solid prof against someone. My friends, stay away from the Social media for a while until everything quiet down. Send an Email to the FBI cyber Unit. you won't loose anything by trying. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Second day in Vampire Rave

20:43 Sep 24 2016
Times Read: 383

So this is supposed to be like a diary right? I never really kept one to be honest.

It's my second day in Vampire Rave and I already got to know some of the basic rules of the site.

I like the fact that this site has a dark vibe to it.Makes you feel like you're not that weird since there's always someone more weird than you.

It's pretty interesting to see that there's a bunch of people to guide you and help you to understand the site better.

However, I'm still working on it since I still haven't learnt everything I need to know, sometimes I don't even know what to click on.Haha.

I'm glad to be here and if anyone feels like it drop me a line and I'll answer back. :)..

I still have limited messages though, not that pleasant. :/

A journal is where you write down your personal experiences and thoughts. With this being online it would be only stuff you want to share with others, that you do not mind others reading.

Signed up today.

Hello to everyone who reads this, I don't really know how to handle this journal or what to even write but, I joined in this site today and I'm pretty excited.

So I'm new here and I would love to find someone to guide me through this site and basically explain me how it works and what do I have to do to get to know more and more people.

If you came across this journal entry and you feel like you can help me and explain me a few things, please feel free to drop me a line and I'll message you back :)..

Ok you have a profile. You made a journal. Good start! Now stop everything...before you do anything else... READ THE VR MANUAL. All of it. Slowly, then read it one more time, all of it again.

And welcome. I am a mentor. I would be happy to help you. Contact me.

Like Dakotah said, read the manual. Too many people don't and then end up upset over silly things or wondering why they're suddenly suspended. I've even seen some make a ton of profiles just to harass the admin over what they think was ok to do but the manual says is a no no. As far as meeting people, use your best judgement. Reading the journals is a good way to judge character and get to know people through their posts. Watching the forums is another way. You can find people with similar interests and send a message then. Or just message randoms and hope you hit a nice one. Creepers are plentiful but that's why the block button is so handy. :) Welcome to the rave.

as far as your journal is concerned, its the same as a diary. you can post anything you like in it as long as you do not break VR TOS (terms of service)

as far as a mentorship is concerned, in the members section, on the left, is the heading 'Mentorships'. click on that and it will bring up the list of all the mentorships on the rave. take a look through and choose which one is right for you

im an ACM in The Coven of Royal Blood. if you have any questions, just message me
