And then she woke up suddenly from a nightmare that never seemed to end
Becuase she just didn't want to pretend
And she felt the beat of her heart like a drumb in her chest
These moments of bliss and sarrow that always taste the best

He died that day
Wouldn't go away
She screamed in agony
"JUST LET ME BE!"

How the fuck was I supposed to know if I was always the monster in the back of your mind?
And you, the giant shadow that constantly followed me at the same time?

How the fuck was I supposed to dream when I was always waking to something you had done?
Did you think it was going to end sweetly? Think it was always gonna be fun?

He died that day

She stuck her hands together to pray
