The creature's prodigious black eyes stared at me in a way i couldn't explain. Sent up my spine were chills like I had never felt before. I had no idea what was watching me but i did not fear it. Instead, I felt a comfort.



Through the foggy window i watched the being watch me. As I progressed closer to the window the beast slowly drifted farther away into the night.



Months later. Cattle wallow in the feilds as i watch the sun escape into the mountains. Anticipation grows over me as i wait impatiently.



Candles lit, I wait for the beautiful creation to reappear. Shadows dance outside my window. I listen to the deadly noise of night. I wait.
