Apparently creators of Member Pages can selectively delete comments. So I'm pretty positive I can kiss mine on the "Profile Bombers" page goodbye. Normally I don't muck around with this stuff but I've been running on fumes lately (what with my manager being in Germany and expecting me to run her busiest store with just 3 shift leaders and 3 support staffers with extremely limited schedules) so I have an extremely low tolerance for the ridiculous. It's just the standard rant about the aforementioned, non-existent beast, to which I replied with:
I understand the frustration in seeing a number that is supposed to represent your face to the VR world drop but I honestly don't mind "bombers," they help regulate a far more prolific infestation. The "insincere rater". These people rate every and all profiles a 10, regardless of quality. These members are much like the "bomber" only more veracious and sturdy. They too hide behind false avatars and phony profiles, switching names or creating whole new accounts if their beloved score--their "precious" as often heard muttered by passersby--doesn't remain ludicrously high. What can be done about these IR's before they inflate our perception of what a normal profile rating should be to such absurd standards that we complain when sincere people exercise their Cancer-given right to have an original opinion?

Ha! I LOVED your comment. I wonder if my comment is still there. o.O

That's rather disheartening - and seems to be killing the opinions of people.
Then again, if a rather nasty comment is made on a personal scale, people'd want to delete it like a journal comment.
This is the internet though. With so many people we can't all see eye-to-eye and criticisms should be taken with a grain of salt.
I hope your comment remains - it's true, and no one else seems to want to admit it.

I honestly don't care if someone chooses to be either but when one does they usually take a fairly firm stance rejecting the other as the vilest of members and refuse to accept the fact that the two are one in the same.

I loved your comment too. I personally wouldn't delete anybodys comments, just as folk have a right to rate what they wish, in my opinion, they also have a right to comment what they wish. Hope your comment stays LOL
