Betwixt the veil and falling dusk, I tarry where the echoes hushed. The heavens dim, the hour late— yet none do beckon at the gate. A breath unclaimed, a tale unspun, I wait beneath the withered sun. Unseen, unheld, unwept I stay, a shadow cast in disarray. I am a crow with fangs, perched 'pon wires of forsaken things. Half a predator, half in dream, adrift within the space between. I walk the dusk in trailing lace— a wraith, a hush, a nameless face. I speak ere silence taketh hold— but none would hear a heart so old. Not banished, nay— not wholly dead… but clinging by a single thread. I am a crow with fangs, a remnant no soul ever claims. Not beast, not ghost, not kin nor queen—
but evermore the in-between.

I like it very much. There's enough content to write it into lyrics for a cracking song. I'm a bit backed up atm so I can't help, but it's a thought if you are that way inclined.
