Why is it harder to loose someone who you know versus one you just met? I lost another resident tonight, she was 102 years old. It must be something to be able to look back and see a century before your eyes, what you've seen, done...She lived through two wars that shaped the world as we know it, she seen presidents murdered, stars rise and fall, and watched the world mature into what we know it today. She seen us go from steam power to nuclear. Just know that she was not alone when she passed and that she was not in pain, far from really. She passed at 10:12 pm tonight.

May she rest in eternal peace.

So in the last few days I managed to pass my state boards and exceed even my wildest dreams. I am floating on cloud nine and have been these last few days. The only problem is that work wont pay me any more because the supervisors make a quarter more than me and we have evaluations coming up....guess I'll be making 8.70 an hour to keep me below what the supervisors are making(8.75/hr). It's bull and I will most likely end up with another job where I'll get payed what I should, unless they get their heads out of their a**es.



Oh well, happy haunting everyone!

I got all the grades back for my spring semester classes and once again I have a 4.0 Gpa. I worried and toiled long hours to dedicate all my time to these classes and I blow all the finals out of the water. To bad that these are college courses and not high school, I could get a nice scholarship out of my top grades...oh well. Now all I have to do is pass my CNA state certification Tuesday and I'll be happier than a clam! Especially since my facility just finished with our state star inspection and well we got no demerits which means a 100 but we have to wait until all the other homes in nc get inspected to find out our total score be it 100.1 or like last year 105.5. Last time we were tied for first in the whole state!! We Rock. Our facility is like a close nit family, sure we have our fights but we can get it done right and on time if not early! We are by-the-book and proud of it. ;). Seems like things are finally going my way, Have a Happy Mother's Day and Happy Haunting!

Congratulations !! 4.0. That's awesome. I don't think people realize how hard you have to work to accomplish that. Oh yea, I wish I had applied myself more in High school as well. Oh well: All we can control is the here and now. I'm glad things are going well for you. Have a great day!!
