Life, as you get older, the things you enjoyed don't seem as fun anymore, especially the friends you made along the way, who don't bother to talk to you anymore. I feel like that here. This is why I don't come online as much anymore. If I do, it'll only be on my lifetime accounts. I cannot justify spending money on profiles I don't use anymore, plus my creativity has gone to crap.
My daughter (now 20) has decided to leave the nest and, of all places, move to Denver, Colorado, with another family, mind you. How do I feel? Neutral. I am neither sad nor happy if that makes any sense. She claimed we didn't respect her at all because we wouldn't call her by her preferred name, which was Lu. That name had nothing to do with her birthname, and then the fact that she claimed she was non-binary. I'm sorry, but there are only 2 sexes, male and female, when you are born, plain and simple, and if this offends anyone, I am sorry, but I am tired of being force-fed these idiologies. I have friends who are gay and lesbian who are fighting these same ideologies. But anyway.
My son finally graduated from high school. It's been a long road for him, and I am proud of his accomplishment of walking the stage, even though it's just a state certificate of completion. He's autistic ( high functioning), and he understands that he is not ready for college yet. I've got my work cut out for me to get SSI for him and go to probate court for a POA for medical and financial reasons.
I am accommodating well to having only one job. I have no stress, make my own hours, and I massage people. Can't beat my pay and the nice tips I get. (no happy endings) *joke* I am a lead therapist, and I am also a trainer. One thing that has also helped financially is that I finally got 100% disability from the VA. It only took me 15 years to fight for it.
Anyhow, many of you will read only some of this, but I had to post something so y'all know I'm still alive.
