Only once In my life have I ever hated anyone, and that was when I was younger, my elementary days, the days of being called bad names because I was different than the other kids, I knew things I shouldn't know. As I grew up, there were times when I was treated wrong, but never did I hate them. Hate is such a strong word to use, and one I try to teach my children not to use.

However, I will tell you that I do and have in the past held grudges against those that have wronged me. I can forgive them for what they have done, but don't expect me to forget what was done. I am a full-blooded Aries. Yes, I have a temper, but I have learned to channel that temperament into energy. I am one of those types of people if you wronged me in a way such as lying or using me for your own game, I will drop you like a hat and leave you there wondering if I'll ever return. I have done this to a 30-plus-year friendship to someone. He lied to me about being married and strung me along. I was his best friend and he didn't have the heart to tell me that. Now what good friend does that to you?

If I ignore you, it's not because I hate you, it's because I don't forget the things I have been put through.

Plus I am a very busy woman these days. Teaching takes up a lot of my time now.
