Do I, Or Don't I?

As usual my daughters father has let my baby down. Why fight for visitation for every other weekend, if you can't show up on the second scheduled visit? I am being forced to keep things from my daughter now, because he can't follow through on his promises. Do I , or don't I tell her he's coming? Should I keep it to myself, and just wait for him to show up? Should I tell her, and just pick up the pieces every single time? I already listen to her cry because he doesn't call! Is she destined to always have her heart broken, by the one man in this world, who should be protecting her? I never thought anyone could ignore such a precious child, when all she wants is to be loved!

Ever notice that once a relationship ends, you either get along better with the other person or you want them dead!? In this case...I want him dead! I recently took my ex to court for custody of our daughter! I even agreed to supervised visitation, (which I didn't even have to bring up!); however, he's now calling me an unfeeling bitch. Now I ask you, would you hand your child off to a virtual stranger, who they barely knew, every other weekend? HELL NO!!! He has seen her for maybe 12 months out of her life, she just turned 5! I agree that children should see both parents, but I need proof that he intends to stick around before I risk her heart and happiness! I just hope that I'm doing the right thing!
