Under the silver eye of the full moon,
I wandered where the black pines sway,
A velvet cloak around my shoulders,
And midnight thirst beneath my veins.

The forest opened like an ancient spell,
Mist curling low upon the earth,
While distant owls called my true name
In voices older than the church bells.
Their hollow songs circled above me,
Guardians of the haunted trees,
Watching with golden lantern eyes
As I drifted deeper into shadow.

Dead leaves whispered beneath my boots,
Soft as forgotten funeral prayers,
And pale moonlight painted my skin
Like marble carved for the restless dead.
I felt at home among the darkness,
Among the twisted roots and thorned roses,
Where the night creatures bowed in silence
To the hunger hidden in my smile.

The full moon hung like a crimson promise,
Bright upon the frozen sky,
And the owls flew beside me slowly
Like spirits guiding me through eternity.
There in the forest, I became eternal
Neither living nor truly gone,
Only a vampire soul wandering endlessly
Through moonlit trees and sacred night.
