unfortunately I was with both my parents during their slow demise in leaving this world. It is ver hard, sad, you feel the pain forever and tho's who say it gets better with time is wrong, It is not that it becomes easy by any means, it is you have accepted to just live with it, and have you days where you sit down and your world falls apart for a little while. Then we get up and adjust...
We all will suffer loss in our lives just the way it is.
I am sorry that you went through it, it is one thing I would not wish on anyone ..
