Of the four trimesters a woman goes through this one is the worse. The emotional flux is the worst as a woman's body bounces back post birth. I wish it didn't exist. Mostly cause I see my wife suffering, and know I can't do anything to alleviate the symptoms.

All I can do is be the rock that tethers the tornado. By tornado I mean specifically my wives emotional ups and downs. Not her person. I know once the healing is completed this will be over forever.

On the upside I've seen other women going through this, and by comparison I think my wives emotions are fairly mild.
