Sorrow and Rage

The wind blows across my face

I can’t feel the cold

This rage inside has made me unable to feel anything at all

Rage is such a fascinating feeling

It makes me feel invincible

Nothing can stop me when rage is on my side

Nothing can get in my way

For now, for rage that’s all I have to say

Hail pelts my face

I can’t feel the pain

This sorrow inside feels so at home it takes up all the space

Sorrow is such an interesting feeling

Drowning in my tears

Screams rise and fall

“No that couldn’t be!”

Reality slips away as I call

Mourning for the lives lost that make me feel this way

Sorrow such an amazingly painful feeling

Dizzy from it I start to sway

For now, for sorrow that’s all I have to say

Love such a happy feeling without all the pain

But anything you have

Will one day

Be lost in the wind

Love at its peak is so magical

But unlike sorrow and rage

Love always slips away
