My cousin was diagnosed with Crohn's disease nearly 20 years ago. Way before the meds existed that make it possible for me to function, James struggled to get through.

Now we've found out that the medications that he was on to keep him alive and functioning has given him Liver Cancer.

It's stage 4. He has hours, maybe days.

This sucks.

There's nothing quite like waking up in bed snuggled up nice and close to another body... it's all warm and cozy.

Mind you, it probably would have been a better experience had the other body not been that of a doggie..lol

Megan lept onto my bed this morning and did the full belly flop on top of me.. sighed in her wonderfully doggie way and proceeded to snuggle right up close. Now if only I could get a human woman to do that... woohoo!!

I shudder to think that these people actually are a part of society somewhere on this planet. To actually beleive some of the.. well.. crap that they or others post... omg.... AND they call themselves intelligent!!

Went out tonight, and after months of, well, hoping, IT happened!! woohoo!! I just hope it keeps going as well as it has been!

Oh, IT isn't what you're all thinking.. but it's something good nonetheless and we'll just have to see where it goes from here:)

My roomie painted the dining room when I was at work.. amazing!! once the trim is up, pics will follow. Just no one fling poo at the walls, they're just too damn pretty right now!;)

Had friends over for dinner.. then Call the Office.. it's good to get out with friends and have fun! What a night!! woot!!!

Sahahria's spent the day cooking, so I've spent the day cleaning... we're THAT much closer to getting this place exactly where we want it! New phones (no more dead batteries, bad headsets.. yeay!), new attitudes and a definate plan to get the townhouse finished! Woohoo to us!

Last night I got to do something I haven't really done in a long time. My manager at Cowboys put me on the only bar that I could 'flair'. For those of you that don't know, flaring is the art of tossing bottles/glasses/bar tools in an acrobatic and entertaining attempt at making drinks (think Tom Cruise's movie 'Cocktail').

I reached waaay back into a past I'd partially left behind, and damn did I have fun! I tossed, spun, caught, screwed up, dropped, laughed, tossed some more and entertained a LOT of people.

When it was all over, I'd done something I havent' done in a long time, made rent in one night. Yep, I managed to make my entire payment in 6 hours of having fun! Mind you, I'm paying for it today... my back is sore, my neck is sore, my arms are whipped and my head's killing me. GOD was it fun though! Something I wont' be able to do very often, but it went a long way to getting me to where I want to be!
