You know, if you say you're going to be someone's friend, BE a friend. Lame smiles in passing, rushing to get away and ignoring messages is NOT a friend. You were the one that said 'friends' and I've stuck to it, you haven't.

Yeppers... 4 1/2".. I came that close to dying last Friday afternoon.

Those that know me know that every 6 weeks I go for Iv therapy at the hospital to infuse me with the medication that helps keep my Crohn's disease in check. While in there, we're monitored by nurses during the infusion 'just in case'.

Friday was one of those 'just in cases'.. I was lying there almost asleep (the chairs are really comfy there.. big, reclining.. but I digress) when all of a sudden i think I've been stabbed in the shoulder; my left arm goes numb, my shoulder and chest get all tight and achy, i start sweating, getting dizzy, and my vital signs went off the charts. Blood pressure skyrocketed to 198/135, heart rate jumped to 140.. i thought i was having a heart attack!

Nurses scramble.. call a code on me and rush me down to the Emergency room. After a quick assessment they determine that a blood clot formed at the iv site and travelled along my blood stream, eventually lodging itself in my shoulder somewhere. The scariest part? 4 1/2 " was all that separated the clot from my heart.. had it got there, no more Matt.

Thankfully , they got it using blood thinners and it dissolved later that evening. Guess I'm adding another date to the tattoo soon.

One of my co-workers got back from his holidays this past monday. No biggie right? Everyone takes a holiday in the summer, a nice break doing something relaxing along that person's own interests. At least you'd think. This person? He heads off to Race Camp for a week. Hey cool! Race Camp! Unfortunately, it's not what you and I first think. See, to this ass, Race camp is where he goes way up north ino the woods with a bunch of his 'buds' and reestablish their belief that 'white is right'. ick.

Essentially, he took a week off to reindoctrinate himself into the whole ideal of white supremacy. I want to just be sick that this is still allowed and/or tolerated in the 'civilized' world. I checked, as long as it's a private gathering not in public view, they can express their opinions as they may, despite the fact that they're incorrect and, well, disgusting.

I'm really hoping that when he goes back later this summer that he gets bit by a rattlesnake or a tree falls on him or something.

Images has it right when she writes about how you have created the drama and the bullshit by writing in your journal... have you ever thought that if you just left things alone that life on vr would be easier for everyone? This isn't your personal playground to run amuck as you choose, this is supposed to be here for everyone.

Stop obsessing over every little thing (perceived or real) that people do; and then airing it for all to see. There is a thing known as privacy you know, and people who are honorable, trusting, and have even a modicum of respect for other human beings tend to keep private things private.

You are ruining other people's experiences on vr, as well as affecting people's personal lives outside of their time here. Stop it. That simple. End your game or have it ended for you. Enough is enough.

So a good friend has left vampire rave. Thank you to the ass and the asses 'friends' that helped sour this person's time here. (that's sarcasm there folks) I met this person through vr and have developed a friendship with this person that has gone beyond '1's and 0's ' that being online generally is... And now.. poof, she's gone.

Do yourself one favor assholio, don't ever come here and piss me off, i won't go anywhere, and you'll lose this fight.

So today, July 1st is Canada Day, where we celebrate becoming our own country as opposed to part of the British dominion.. and we did it without needing a civil war! yeay us! That is all, go enjoy the fireworks.
