As the rain falls
Onto the earth
bringing life
and giving birth.
It is time
to start a new
And live a life
that's bright and true.
But as the water
soaks into the ground
so does your life
without a sound.
Does the heart not brake?
Does the wind not cry?
Does the sun not smile
then slowly die?
Do the mountains not tremble?
Does the river not sigh?
Do the trees not whistle
and wave good by?
Ripping, tearing, slicing all
Blood splatters on the floor & wall.
The crimson river is everywhere
cutting and carving without a care
Darkened soul
angry and alone
singing steadily
with a soulless tone.
Your deed is done
Your deed is through
Looking over
all you slew.
