In the Native American world we know that what your are feeling is spirits trying to talk to you. In my culture seeing, smelling, feeling and hearing spirits is common, and not all of them or human. Most ancient cultures know this truth, but western society only wants to deal with the body and mind. Things they can tangibly understand. They don't want to acknowledge anything they can not explain. So, when someone in the western society has the gift of sight, they are freaked out because it is the unknown. they were not taught about it, and probably never even heard about it. So, it is a shock.In my culture everyone has the gift, and if you don't then you are weird. So, it is opposite to western thinking. So, the gift os sight, or sound, smell or a combination is a good thing. That means you are open to work with them. There are many reasons why they might want to contact the living, but each case is different. if you want to talk more message me.
