Okay so we're talking.. He called me at stupid o'clock... Said he has realised a lot and hasn't stopped thinking about me... he was driving a friend to their house about 100 miles, and they chatted for the duration.

having taken a huge step back, and called off the engagement, I have been able to see how destructive the relationship was becoming. I was becoming cold towards him, with his arrogance, and criticisms were bring me down.

So, my coldness towards him, was making him feel unwanted , and so the cycle continued..... Now he seems to have understood HOW the cycle started instead of just looking at his feelings. he's realised I am simply reacting and protecting myself.



I still care about him.. I'm a natural nurturer, and I get made a fool of on a regular basis for having compassion to this degree..

I know what I don't want, but I don't know what I do want.

Something had to give though.. I got fed up with all the fresh starts.

I'm now having pains with my grumbling appendix.. AGAIN!!

We split up this morning, I had had enough of his behaviour.. And countless fresh starts with promises to be better, and treat me better.



I still care about him , but he was always critisizing me and pushing me to do things I didn't want to do.



Pushing me to get a bigger place so he can move in... But he isn't working.. How am I supposed to afford him and support him financially?? Fed UP with name calling and the emotional crud.. If you love someone and consider them, You treat them in those ways! After 8 months.. if it's like THIS.. then there is no future.. So I ended it.
