Why are humans these days so confused about who is the bad guys and who is the good guys?

I get that there is shades of grey and nuances in the world but some things are actually clear cut and yet folks tend to side with the wrong side (even if said side would want them dead)

Take queers for palestine.

They support a side that has a large faction that support a religion that would see them stoned to death or given flying lessons off a roof.

Perhaps its darwin's way of rooting out the stupidest members of the lgbt community? because no sane human would support their own death.

Then there is those that support Hamas over Israel. Apparently its okay to start the war but when Irael retaliates, its genocide.....

The world is fucked up and its understanding over right and wrong is slipping away.

A man burns a religious book and while disrespectful to that religion for sure, the religious guy who went after him with a knife didn't get jailed. It wasn't even a crime of passion since he actually went back into his house to get the knife after the incident. i.e premeditated.
