Hello and welcome to VR. You can add friends by clicking on the add to friendslist on every profile.
Also if you like someones journal you can add that to add to favorite journals. I will add to to my friendslist and favorite journalslist.
The more profiles you rate, including the items etc on the vampire data base the quicker your level will rise. You can also join a mentorshipgroup as you can learn about everything at VR. At level 20 you can join or be inducted to a Coven.
