I don't want to be. I slept in a car with my mom and brother for a night when I was 10. Then we moved into a one bedroom apartment that was my aunt's. It was my mom, my aunt S., my cousin, my grandma, my brother, and me all living in that place. It was right by the railroad tracks, and every time a train went by, the apartment would shake. I had a place to sleep, but not a home. It wasn't the first time.
I definitely don't want to be truly homeless like my brother was for awhile, but what can I do? I'm trying.
