I am someone who tends to see things from many sides, so I am not one who is easily able to label someone as "good" or "bad". In fact, I think these labels are useless. More important, to me, is to try to see things from their point of view, although I realize this isn't always possible.

I love animals, and I spent more time with them during my childhood than I did with people- or at least it seemed that way at times.

I have little desire for power over others- except when I would like them to leave me, or those I care about, alone. I would rather have power over myself.

I miss my two cats- Stinky and Andrew- who died in 2011, about two months apart. They were almost 19, and almost 17, respectively.

I am hesitant to get to know people, but once I do, I am extremely loyal. I dislike conflict, and I have never struck another human being in anger, although I have joked about it when someone was really bothering me.

How others live is not for me to say, and so I do not judge them for that. Instead, I base my opinions of people on how they treat me.

I believe we need more kindness in this world.
