Well it does appear that Resolutions are made to be broken....... I told everyone that I would log in at least once a day and I have not...... bad Nedra!
Today is the first day that I am feeling at peace with my decision to move. There is still SOOOOOO much to sort through and negotiate (too many lawyers are involved for my taste) but all in all I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I had the roof of my house done this weekend.....something that I should have done 4 years ago.....I was pleased with how fast it got done. I thought such things would take weeks but the team finished it in one day! Now I have to have professional pictures taken (of the house) so that I can put it on the market. This makes me uncomfortable.....I do not like people being able to look inside my home. It has also become apparent that there are items in my house that I need to pack away before anyone comes to view the house….. I guess people are not as tolerant as I thought. (Get your mind out of the gutter – I am referring to all my books on Witchcraft and Vampires)
This past weekend I sorted through the years of "stuff" (AKA Junk) that I have acuminated over the years.....I donated a TON of clothes to the Good Will....and I mean that literally....there was over 500 pounds. Then I put out other usable items by the curb with a "Free" sign. There are lots of folks in the area that can use these items and this morning - the curb had been wiped clean. I like it when this happens.....it makes me happy that others have found uses for items that are no longer needed by me.
The one area that is going to kill me to clean out is the attic....I am NOT ready to part with all my daughter's baby items. Although I have been told that I will never have another child I am not really ready to accept it..........I get all weepy when I think of donating anything in the attic......*sigh*
So much to do ….. so little time………….

I saw a really nice thing online not long ago where someone had their daughter's tiny baby clothes made into a quilt, so they could keep it forever as a functional item. It looked really good too. I'll see if I can find a link for you... maybe something you'd like to look into for that.
Otherwise, I am in awe of your throwing away skills! I need to totally do that too.
