So, this game is finally getting released-*knocks on my desk*. The long awaited sequel that took about eight years of development. No it is not even going to come close to cult classic like the first. But I'll still get it. The normal game cost $60 but to get it with all the extra content-premium version is $90. My how times have changed and this is not for something you own but only pay to license using...for a time. Yeah, I'm already disappointed.
First this playing as a female character kind of sucks but I suppose it is offset by having a malkavian male private dick spirit possessing you. I don't really get hung up on gender benders IRL having a view of many lives and therefore many sexualities' but I do recognize my own in this life i.e. heterosexul. Being empathic and not understanding it has caused lots of turmoil to me in the past until, it finally clicked that when I get around certain individuals or they merely think of me and I pick up on it and it affects my thoughts. It gets really fucked-up when they have insecurities that I have to deal with because they don't have my...security which comes from knowing oneself-no shortcuts there. Also having a proper understanding in elemental foundation to cosmic reality helps too as some just anthropomorphize everything in their connection to the cosmos but that gets them into problems. Fake it till you make it philosophy so many use just doesn't cut it you fucktards. I'm not here to stroke your fucking egos which so many have built on pure bullshit. *SMH*
Anyway getting away from that tangent I still am looking to get this game next month. Rik Shaffer will be doing a lot of the soundtrack which is what really enhanced the first to me. I'll probably play as a Toreador first as games are cathartic to me letting me have what I don't as real vampire-seductive charm. Otherwise, it will make for some content for my future coven in a game section of forum.

You know you can choose the sex of your character right? you are not forced to play as a female, its just the version that has been highlighted the most in their promo vids. That all being said, I too doubt it would reach the level of the original.

You may be able to choose what sex is on on your character sheet but still have the same androgynous but mostly feminine avatar. Yeah I don't think they should have made it a bloodlines 2 title which is just a marketing gimmick. So many fans to the first have been awaiting this release they will not find the game up to the standards of the first. I realize there's a lot to creating a game not just content but production and marketing but is really that hard to create something like Skyrim with Dragon's Dogma combat system and Dark souls challenge for the Vampire archetype?
