It has been quite some time since I have been on, so I figured I would do an update.



Two years ago, my marriage had started falling apart. He cheated on me with two different women (did not tell me the first one had STD's)... I found out 10 months after I met her since she and I became friends that he slept with her while I was living in a different state (we were wanting to relocate to a different location and so I did the legwork). It wasn't until last year, when he brought his GIRLFRIEND to live with us... now let me tell you the timing; he brought her home (driving to a different state and back to retrieve her) 13 days after saying he's filing divorce papers, and 08 days before our 3-year anniversary, after I told him i did not want her here, that he could live with her AFTER he helps me move out.



Why is he needing to help me? (for most of the marriage I moved around for him, and was homemaker for 2/3 of the marriage, in addition to my being disabled). He promised he would not leave me stranded here, 2,000 miles away from my family.



After he locked me out, I moved in very briefly with the first girl he slept with (we became her neighbors) and then to a friend of mine, who, after living with him for over half a year, he proposed to me and we set a wedding date.



There is one problem; the one who is initiating divorce and insisting that he wants it over just as quickly as I do, is procrastinating and putting the divorce on the back burner. It took four months for him to meet up with me to sign the papers, after he had received the petition. It then took three months for us to go to the courthouse to make it official. So what went wrong?



The decree papers WEREN'T IN VALID FORMAT.

The Government never updated the papers, when they have been invalid (to them at least, they are still valid it's just they won't use them) and it has been two years since that particular formatting was no longer accepted.



Two weeks later, when I already expected a call from my ex to go back to the courthouse to fix the decree papers and to go to the courthouse, he calls me and says that even the PETITION was invalid. He continued to tell me that he was busy and so he couldn't do it this week, or next week, because he's going to her home state for some BS (when he couldn't even afford to have me go to my home state for 2.5 years).



What's more, is he said he had to wait until he could go to the courthouse to print out both the petition and the decree papers... he found the correct petition then. His printer was suddenly out of ink. No store had the ink. When he finally found a printer he could use, the papers didn't print out right (which that last part at least was truth).



My wedding date is early next year. My ex does not know that I'm getting married. Here, I have to have been divorced for three months before I can marry again. Notice the time crunch?



My ex apparently wants to leave the city and move hours away to another side of the state at the end of this month. He needs to get this done first, because I'd be damned if he wanted to wait until after he gained money to come back down here just to do it. I've just about had it with the whole mess. He initiated it and he's being such a prick about it... granted the wrong formatting of the papers were not his fault, but the way he is going about it, is.



All I want is to be happily married with my love, on the day we want to get married on.



Other news, I published books, I gained a kitten because my cat R'asha had a baby, we moved again, and I am working on getting my eyes checked out (I am legally blind, and going blind).



That about sums a lot of it up.
