One of the downsides to working for a huge, faceless corporation the radio station. It's that endlessly looping, same stuff every day music. As bad as the music has a tendency to be (because heaven help you if you should broadcast tunes with any sort of personality whatsoever), even WORSE are the awkwardly shoe horned in advertisements. This is because even thought I hear pretty much exactly the same line up of songs every day, at least I only hear them once per day. These commercials on the other hand get slipped in about hourly, and they're THE SAME COMMERCIALS every hour. I tell you last week I was about to lose it after hearing the same Geiko auto insurance advertisement over and over again. And to think, I use to like that Rockwell "(I Always Feel Like) Somebody's Watching Me" song. Now it makes me want to shoot myself.
