...am I really that smart or is everyone else really just that stupid?

Well, next week I'll be joining a couple hundred or so of you lovely people on the annual Goth Cruise!

I'm really excited, but also nervous as I haven't flown anywhere in 10 years and never been on a cruise before so I have no idea what to expect. See, I'm one of those planner types and also a control freak. I have to surrender control to the airlines and trust them to be on time and to not lose my luggage. This is driving me batty in the back of my brain. I have yet to actually scream out loud, and I hope I don't, but if they actually DO lose my lugggage I feel I shall completely go insane.

The main "point" of this post is to make it generally known around here that I'll be there and hopefully maybe get some people at least mildly interested in meeting lil' ol' me. I have difficulty making friends in real life. I have terrible social anxieties and this is a big step for me not to spend the entire trip locked in my cabin with many dirty room service trays. This whole shindig has the potential to be everything I like from the music played in the clubs to Rocky Horror as well as other people who also like these things with similar fashion sense (but probably better). I want to put it out there that I AM interested in meeting you folks but I might be more than a little timid about it. I want you to know that it isn't YOU it is really ME. I have problems and it has nothing to do with you so don't take it personally if I don't say anything at first or maybe prattle on about boring things endlessly (why isn't there a button to make me stop talking??).

I've been attempting to track down most of you people whom I know will be inattendance by checking out your profiles and such. I just want to know more about you. I'm hoping some of you are doing the same. If so, hello!

I have a shirt that looks like my avatar (Z?). I have been deciding whether or not I should wear it. I figure it would be good for picking me out at the pre-cruise party, but I wonder if this is too nerdy. "hi! I'm Rosenrot! You can tell because my shirt is my avatar! DERP!" Nerdy or neat? Desperate cry for attention? Can't decide!

I'm also in the middle of figuring which if any of the shore excursion I want to do. I cannot swim, so 2/3 of them are out. Some of the island tours sound nice. If anyone reads this, what are you doing? Room for one or two more?

I also cannot figure out when I am going to be sleeping.... so much clubbing, so little time.
