eyes drowning in tears, wishing you were near
trails of moisture on my cheeks, hoping for release
from the misery and pain, the heartache and the strain
the memory will hopefully fade over time, of our bittersweet time together
maybe one day i will look back and see what you did then
til then i wish you well, wishes and luck
