The darkness rolls in like an unwelcome fog

blocking out the sun and sky

silent and unmoving they lay

mouths open in a silent scream

the air cold and the ground barren

when all seems lost a light from afar is seen

a sign of hope and life; a promise

coming closer.



a light like no other spans out overcoming the darkness

brining warmth back into the soul and earth
