The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I figured it was time for an update. Things change so fast in my world now I don't have time to update as often as I'd like to. For starters, I went back to my job. They wanted me back so much that they said I don't have to go to that building anymore, and I have more say in what I do. However, I am not just a cleaner anymore. Today I was given a second job of afternoon landscape and groundskeeper. That is a job they give to the maitenance men, so I consider it kind of an honor that they would want me to work with them. So tomorrow morning I'll be cleaning my 7 floor building like usual, and after lunch I'll be laying down mulch and gravel, and doing some planting. I've gotten started on the baby blanket for Mike's sister in law, and turning out really pretty. Mike is working on taming the 2 feral kittens this week, and I'll spend a good bit of time on it when I'm over there this weekend. Oh, and you won't believe it. He said that he's keeping one of the kittens (the other is going to find a good home) and it's my decision which one he keeps......... because it will be my kitten. I freaked out when he told me that, because you all know how much I love kittens. However, this will have to be a short entry as my back is killing me, and I have to get to Walmart to get kitty treats and toys, dry erase markers, sunblock, and new gardening gloves. This job is beating me up, but it's a paycheck (although a small one).

I suppose that I have some explaining to do regarding my recent lack of attention to VR. Don't worry, I still love you all very much, things have just been absolutely nuts the past few weeks. To begin with, I got a job (see previous entry) and then had to quit a week and a half later because I was being harassed by a habitual sex offender who lived on one of the properties. I don't put up with that shit, and Mike was itching to kill the guy. Literally. Ahem. So, I quit, and I receive my one paycheck this upcoming Friday, which will be going towards fixing my car so that I may finally become mobile. I've also been working on my first full sized crocheted blanket. It's a really pretty shade of dark green, and really soft. I have also been working on some jewelry pieces for Toni, including a necklace with a carved jade centerpiece and a necklace with two carved Fu dogs that were made in the 1800's. She finds the best stuff on Ebay for me to work with on her jewelry. Then Mike and I have been spending a lot of time together, brainstorming up ideas for the shop he wants to open and just being mushy with each other. And within the next month, I have several projects that I need to get started on. One is a baby blanket for Mike's sister in law, who is due for a baby boy in September. The other is the costume for my first Renaissance faire. I am so excited about finally getting to go to one. I also want to become more familiar with my tarot deck. Tons of stufff to do, and still a new job to find.
