"The key to evil? Freedom. The key to freedom? Money for you, my darlings, freedom to do what you like is the discovery of how unlikable what you like to do makes you. Not that that stops you doing what you like, since you like doing what you like more than you like what you do . . . "
"I, Lucifer, Fallen Angel, Prince of Darkness, Bringer of Light, Ruler of Hell, Lord of the Flies, Father of Lies, Apostate Supreme, Tempter of Mankind, Old Serpent, Prince of This World, Seducer, Accurser, Tormentor, Blasphemer, and without doubt Best Fuck in the Seen and Unseen Universe (ask Eve, that minx) have decided -oo-la-la! - to tell all."
First paragraph from Glen Duncan's "I, Lucifer"
Ok, last night the dream was fairly normal I suppose. I was working as a technical engineer on a movie set. We were out in the middle of the woods and there was some scene where a van makes a get away through a trail in the woods. It got stuck and we had to go pull it out of the ditch. While we were waiting for a new van my supervisor took me to look around. We were at an old cabin in the woods and he said that it was from a scene in a movie called "White Noise" I looked inside really quick and then followed the man back outside. There was a creek with really, really high sides, cliff-like almost. He looked down into the trash strewn creek (it was nasty looking) and I told him that I remembered this place from a movie as well. He said I was right, it was in a movie. (I don't remember the movie) Some kids had jumped into the water from atop the cliff while a killer was chasing after them or something. Suddenly the guy jumped off into the water, clothes and electronic equipment on and everything. I was wondering what he was doing so I peeked over the edge and climbed down to a protruding board sticking out of the cliff face. I was talking with the guy about something when out of nowhere the van comes flying over the top of the cliff above me. I freaked out and flattened myself against the wall behind me. It was going to fall directly on top of my supervisor. The van stopped in mid-air and I realized that it was attached to a crane. The man laughed at me and I climbed back up the wall ruffled as hell. The crane swung around and put the van back down. That was about the end of it.
