I believe it's been a while since I've left a good dream here but last night I finally had one. ^_^
Ok, so I can't quite remember if it started before the Psychiatric Building or not but at the moment I can only remember walking down the reddish-brown carpeting in white pj's (like you see people wearing in psych wards on tv) a man is holding my arm so I don't escape. Two other people are in front of me being accompanied by guards just like myself. We go down the hall and on our left is an off with a glass window separating us from the woman inside. The hallway stops and splits up at this point to the right and left. The lady looks up and sees us and presses a button. We go down the left hallway where two armed guards are standing at the sides of another door that had no markings or lettering or name or anything. Not even a window, just a big brown door at the end of the hallway. Once I saw it I had this huge feeling that I needed to escape. We made it to the door and just as we were about to go inside the two guards turned to open the door. With their backs to me I turned to look down the hall where I came from and just as I did the two inmates along with me bolted down the hall. As soon as I realized they were leaving I was right on their heels. The guards shot at us with their special dart guns as we made it around the corner. One guy got hit and he went down shaking violently, then went still. The other guy and I were running our asses off until he bashed through two swinging doors into two guards. He knocked them over and got passed but I stopped and the guards got back up before I could wedge through the doors after the inmate. One of the guards reached through the door and shot me in the shoulder. I went down hard. My body went numb and soon I couldn't move. I was laying there staring up at the ceiling when the guard that first brought me in stood over me smiling. I tried to scowl but couldn't. He started to pick me up and sat me in a chair back at the office we passed. I kind of blacked out for this part and remembered waking up in what looked like a meeting room. It was big with no windows, two doors, no decorations but a big table in the middle of the room surrounded by about 10 chairs. One of which I was sitting in. My drool was still on the table as I sat up. There wasn't a single soul in the room other than myself so I quickly got up and went to the door. It was locked so I tried the other door. It was open but just as I peeked through I saw a guard standing with his back to the door. I waited a bit thinking up a plan. I had no clue where I was so I really couldn't make much of a plan. I ran at the door full speed crashing it into the guard's back. He toppled over and I flew down the hallway. To my good fortune I was in a room just next to the office so I hauled down the way I'd come in past where the guards had shot me. Just as I passed those double doors I felt a sharp pain in my back. I took a few more steps and fell to the floor on my side. They hit me with another dart. This time I saw that same guard come up to me and laugh. He said something but my hearing was reduced to the sounds you hear when you're underwater. Suddenly, while he was talking, I could hear again but even that didn't make me pay attention to his voice. My fingers and toes could move. In seconds I was able to roll over onto my back and move my arm. There was a watch on my hand. I looked at it but couldn't tell the time. My vision was still too blurry. I laid there letting the guy talk until I was sure I could stand up and run. He reached down to grab me and jerked up, punching him in the neck. He instinctively grabbed at me, which was a blessing because then the other guards couldn't shoot at me without risk of hitting him. I struggled to escape his grasp, with the door only a few feet in front of me. He tried to grapple me to the floor but I kicked out his knee and jumped out of his reach to the door where I slipped through before any of the guards could get a clear shot off. Through that door I saw glass to the outside. I knew I was close. Down this hallway I bolted through a glass door into the outside world. Surprisingly I knew exactly where I was, oh, and it was late at night. I ran across the parking lot into the grass and up a hill in search of the other guy but I figured he was long gone by now.
Now, at this point, it's hard to grasp what's going on. I ran a lot and even though I was in one place, it felt and looked like I was in a different place. In the dream, when I ran across the grass, it was the grass at the playground from PC school (where I have a lot of my dreams) and when I went up the hill it was towards the water tower at the school. Here though, the tennis courts weren't built and there was no fence around the water tower. Under the tower was 6 to 7 foot tall grass so thick you could walk on top of it, and I did. For fun I just walked on top of this grass. It turned out to be a good idea because standing up that much higher I noticed a guard on his cell phone coming up the hill. He had no flashlight so I wouldn't have seen him originally. I hid down in the grass as he walked up. He might have heard me because he stopped talking suddenly and turned his flash light on. He shined it past me a few times and eventually kept walking. I bolted into the woods and made it over a high fence into more woods. At this point...I have absolutely no idea where I was. After hopping the fence I think I was in Russia or something. Suddenly I'm living in the woods like Tarzan with a little hut and food. I knew I had been there for a long time. I had trails, walkways, bridges, swings, defenses, homes, and food stocks made. None of this could have been done overnight, plus I had a full beard and was walking around in torn up pants. I was dirty and filthy and I wasn't alone. There was a kid with me around 3 to 4 years of age. He was like my son but I knew it wasn't biological. I assumed that I must have found him in the woods or something. Anywho, living here in the woods for a while a group of people showed up to my wilderness hideaway. There were military officials. It looked like the Russian military. (This is why I assumed I was in Russia even though it was nice and warm) When they spotted me the all aimed guns and were about to shoot. I froze. Not sure what to do I climbed up a tree and started acting like a monkey. They all looked at each other and put their guns down. I'm not sure what happened next but I know they were living where I had made camp for a while because I became part of their group. They set up tents and cleared forest away and made a small base there. I stayed and pretended I couldn't speak. They knew about the kid but he wouldn't talk either. The soldiers figured we had been out here our whole lives and decided it was nice to have us around as a side show. People poked fun and threw things at us but we got free food and I would sneak into the camp finding out information on what they were doing here. I saw their most secret plans. Not sure how it could help me but I liked discovering the knowledge. One day, while foraging for food a noticed a woman. She had red hair and was in a green, formal, military suit. We spotted each other immediately. It was Katie. Both of us were in shock at seeing each other like this. It was impossible that we could have met like this. Both our lives were completely separated and yet we had just found each other. She kept my identity secret from the Russians (lol, I'm glad I got to say that sentence. I feel like a spy) and sneaked off with me to a hidden place in the forest where I told her everything that had been going on. She was in shock especially after seeing the kid which for some reason she took to helping with. She constantly came to my little hut to take care of the kid and bring us prime food. Katie and I chatted and walked through the woods. She knew that if the Russians discovered what I was doing that they wouldn't even hesitate to kill me, but after finding me the way she did, she didn't want to just leave me here when the Russians left. It must have been months or even years that she was there with me because we started to grow attached to each other, sneaking kisses while the soldiers weren't looking. One day after a helicopter showed up Katie came running through the forest towards me. She was in shock and tried to speak but she was too out of breath. I heard shots being fired into the brush towards us. I knew what to do. I grabbed Katie and the kid and bolted off through the woods. The soldiers didn't know the place nearly as well as I did. We were ahead of them and out of sight and range in no time at all. Deep in the forest we stopped and held out breathe, waiting for any sign of the soldiers. They never came. Katie told me that her group was leaving and when she didn't get on the helicopter and ran they chased after her, trying to kill her. We couldn't go back. They would know all too well where the place was. We would have to find a new home.
After that, I pretty much woke up. In fact, I woke up several times that night and I didn't dream anymore but the dream stuck in my head. Funny part was that the dream lasted from 12:30 am to 4:30 am. A long dream for such a short time.
