how frustrating it is when you want to learn something and noone is willing to teach you. worse yet, they wont give you a straight answer as to why. you know it's something you want to learn and you'd be passionat about it but the moment you talk to someone in the skill about learning they tell you that you shouldnt and leave out the why no matter how much you ask.

I learn by playing with it till I get it. Sometimes when people try to help, they sound like Charlie's Brown's teacher, wawawa. You need a degree to understand them.
