The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

So what started out as a really good day, ended up with me being in tears at work. So, today was going pretty good. I was on top of everything, well I thought I was. Apparently towards the end of my shift, or the moment I was going to clock out, my Operations manager chose to speak to me. Well, not speak, but damn well nearly yelled at me for my mishaps with cleaning and not pulling food when its expired. He could have spoken to me like a normal person, and not raised his voice at me. I shut people out of a lot less than that. At this point though? I want to step down as a lead and let someone else have the position. My main boss and Food manager aren't really allowing it at the moment. They want to speak to me before I make any decisions. Why keep me as a lead if I keep messing up? I literally keep feeling like a failure now with this happening......I just don't know anymore.

So, where to start? Let's start with the obvious shall we? Work. So, we recently got Cinnabon Cinnamon rolls. I literally forgot how addicting something like that is! I even finally got to make my first batch at work as well tonight. Though, work has been...interesting and a massive shit show lately as well. So, first things first. The morning guy we have, SUCKS. A no call and no show for you shift? That puts the entire team behind the entire day. I literally got there and was like, "What the fuck?" on and off the entire day. I was behind for at least 30 minutes or so, due to having someone in the kitchen being slow. Not everyone is going to have the speed we need back there, but mannnn......30 minutes of busting my ass to no ends to catch up, not just pizza, but the entire hot case as well.

I did however, have a trainee with me and my boss put him on commissary. Which is cold case items. I showed and explained to him how to do them and he literally caught on so quickly. He actually kept telling me I was doing a good job and was trying to keep me in a good mood. I was literally stressed to no ends with how things had been going. I ended up burning a pizza as well. Usually, I'm a bit more attentive when it comes to things in the oven, but the way the day had been? Man, I literally could not catch a break. Though, I do have at least 2 more people I will be training for kitchen. I'm FINALLY getting help with this crazy system we have at work.

I also found out that I am going to be an aunt all over again. My sister in law is pregnant and I am literally excited for her and her husband! I can't wait to spoil the little one rotten. Teehee. Not much has really changed on my end other than the news of becoming an aunt once again. My 3 ferrets are doing good. I'm gonna probably end up picking up Dungeons and Dragons again here soon. Something else to do. I did, however tear apart my Flyers deck for magic the gathering. I don't use it. Also, went back to playing Phantasy Star Online II New Genesis as well. I actually missed the chaos that is PSE bursts. Lol. I definitely needed a change of pace with gaming.

I'm basically more or less excited for the new help I will be getting. This also means, a lot less stress for me and the work will be divided as well. Thank goodness this is happening before the summer time though.
