The King and the Queen had sent a messenger with a tablet that stated they requested their presence. Now since the girls lived away from Egypt,they couldn't read the hieroglyphs. When they touched the tablet,they got the feeling that if they went,something bad would happen. Their mother,also a witch,had sensed that as well,with much distress.
They asked their spirits if it was true,this terrible feeling,and they said yes. They said that if the sisters went, they would be asked questions,and if they were to answer truthfully,they would surely be destroyed. Having heard this they didn't go.
Not very long after this incident,an evil spirit named Amel had boasted that he was "oh so powerful", and that something bad would happen and that they would need his help. He also said that he could drink blood and that it tasted good.

There was once a King,Enkil, and a Queen,Akasha, of Great Egypt. They hated the flesh eating cannibals that lived throughout the Nile Valley and the lands that surrounded it. It just happened two great witches(twin sisters with green eyes and red hair no less!) lived a little ways away. Their people loved and worshipped them, for they summoned spirits that could tell the future,interpret dreams, and give rain to the crops/heal the people. The witches, Maharet and Mekare became well known for the "big rain" which helped the crops. Even though the people were cannibals, they never hunted for human flesh, they just ate their dead so their loved ones wouldn't rot in the earth. The King and Queen knew what they were, and knew they were powerful witches and sought their presence.
