When you act like an asshole, don't expect me to revive you. In fact, you should then expect me to actively get you killed. Had a round wiry a Revenant, and another Duchess. Seemed fine at first, but we get to Magma Wyrm, asshole Duchess decides not to easily revive me or Revenant, then proceeds to die themselves. Ok, not that big of a deal. Revenant, and I then head over to fight Gargoyle. Other Duchess wanders off to kill a much, much easier boss, seemingly is done helping us. Ok, I can forgive either of those. What sent me over the edge was we were going against Libra, and before the Libra boss fight starts, he gives you the opportunity to take one of his deals. Most of these deals I'll pass on, but there's one in particular, Resistance to Ailments, which gives you 150 resistance to madness, his main attack, in exchange for 10% of your stamina. So it's a pretty good fucking deal especially since Revenant, and I both had golden Frenzy Seals. That's the downside of using the Flame of Frenzy, it gives you madness build-up, so 150 resistance to it would've been incredibly useful, but bitch-ass lesser Duchess rushed in, and immediately started attacking Libra so no one could even see what the fucking deals were. That was the point I no longer cared about winning, I just wanted to see her die xD Petty, yes, but I'm really, really fed up with the bad player behavior so if you're gonna be a bad teammate, I'm going to deliberately stick to your ass, and get the boss to smack the shit outta you. Would've been an easy win if you'd just been a team player, like, why are you on multi-player if you wanna play like a selfish asshole? I think she got the hint that I wasn't going to revive her after I chose to revive Revenant on three bars instead of her on one. Of course, Revenant immediately revives her worthless ass, and they both die, and then she leaves.
Just like if you're going to be that douchebag who fucks around in the rain only to sprint past everyone running to the door just to open the door, and force-start the final fight...
Yeah, I'm not leaving anymore. Nah. I'm gonna go into the fight, stand as far away as possible, and watch you die. Because if I leave then the boss will get scaled down for ttwo. No, no, you're going to fight a full three person boss with two because you saw button, and just had to push button. The thing is, when you force-start the fight, the game counts it as a death. So when you then die to the boss, it's a two-bar revive instead of one. As the person who's going to have to get your ass back up, huge inconvenience. There's no need to open the door especially when everyone is actively running to it, and YOU'RE the one who took so long. At that point, you're either an asshole or an idiot for crippling our fight, probably both, and not only will I not help you, I'm gonna make it as hard as possible.
I don't understand why FromSoftware made it so punishing just to open that door. You can be having such a good run, and then... totally ruined. And maybe some people just don't know that opening the door counts as a death. Better fucking learn. I have no problem completely throwing a run last second if you piss me off. Sure. Play how you want to play. But don't be a fucking inconsiderate idiot.
