Letter to Me(essay #2 for english)

Times Read: 729

Dear Kristen,

I hope that graduation went how you wanted it to, as well as your graduation parties and your eighteenth birthday. I know you worked hard, and have always wanted to make it to where you are now.

As of right now I imagine you have gone through college, and worked a lot. You have gone through five to seven years of college. Constant work everyday of your life, and are now in a wonderful job. This hopefully is a government, and Civil Engineering job.

I bet you have made many friends on your voyage, just by how talkative and friendly you are. Always willing to lend a helping hand, but remember to leave some time for you. Friends are there for you now and then but won’t be there forever. You can hope for friendships to last forever, even when you know deep down that it will never last as long as hoped for.

I can only hope that you now have the love and friendship of a man. A wonderful man, who wants to have those four crazy kids, maybe even be on your way to having those little ones around. The man I hope respects you the way you always wanted to be respected. He better be nice to your family as well.

The main thing is I hope that you have achieved all you wanted to in your life. All that is wanted of you, and all that is needed of you. Keep going strong, that is all that matters. Always do what YOU want not what others want of you. Remember to be around the ones you love as much as possible.

Sincerely,

Kristen

This is how I feel about my graduation date......

Have you ever people-watched? I have, and it has helped me see that most look at their graduation date as an escape. As an escape from high school. Better know to most students as "hell". I have worked hard to get where I am now. I continue to work hard every day, wondering if life will ever be simple. High school has shown me that life as of now is just one mess of drama and hard work.

I am counting down the days till May 23rd for one reason alone. The reason is that I can start fresh again, with a new group of people. Yet, I can stay friends with the people I care about. I will be living at home for two more years so it won’t be an "escape" for me. Though, I will be free of most of the petty high school drama.

Have you ever wanted something so badly that you worked until you couldn’t see straight? That is how I have worked my whole life, how I got to where I am. If I hadn’t, I would feel like I don’t deserve to be graduating. It feels like an honor to be able to walk across that stage and receive my diploma. I have wanted nothing but to graduate since I first started school. It is one of my goals. One step closer to where I want to be.

As I think about everything I have seen, done, and wanted to do I believe I made the right choice to work hard. I am ready for May 23rd. I’m ready to move on to the next step of my life. I am ready to complete my "grade school" and move on to "the hard stuff".

SHOULD CHILDREN WITNESS CHILDBIRTH...

Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the call.

The house was very dark so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-yr old girl to hold a flashlight high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby.

Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked.

Heidi pushed and pushed and after a little while, Connor was born.

The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his

bottom. Connor began to cry.

The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the

wide-eyed 3-yr old what she thought about what she had just witnessed .

Kathleen quickly res ponded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there in

the first place ......smack his ass again!"
