The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

So I know it sounds selfish, but I like to give myself one really nice thing each birthday/Christmas. Last year for my birthday it was human hair extensions, and last Christmas it was a really nice pant suit.



This year my birthday present to myself is a tattoo. My very first tattoo. I'm getting it today, after work. I'm SO NERVOUS. Two of my friends are coming with me for emotional support. One has several tattoos, the other has one that I went with her to get.



I'm a little worried about the pain. I'm getting the tattoo on the front of my hip, pretty much right on the bone. Where everyone says to not get tattoos because it hurts...But I want it to be in a discreet place where I won't have to worry about it being visible in an office environment and my parents won't see it. They're really rather conservative.



But I'm so excited! I'm getting the updated S.H.I.E.L.D. logo from the Avengers film. The original logo was cool and everything, but I LOVE how cleanly designed the new one is.



If you guys have gotten tattoos before, especially somewhere on the bone, did it hurt? Was there much bleeding/bruising involved?

So bear with me, please, while I figure out how to use all the features. No promises that I'll figure it out quickly. It took ages to learn the alt+reblog trick on Tumblr......But I'll do my best!
