To the 29 families in New Zealand who've lost fathers, brothers, husbands, sons, uncles and cousins.
On Friday afternoon, there was a massive explosion that trapped 29 miners. As it was a coal mine, they had to take caution as it's quite unstable, so any attempts to rescue anyone had to wait while tests were done to check for levels of toxic gas.
Unfortunately, today there was another explosion, more powerful than the first. It said that it's now changed from a rescue to recovery.
It's a sad day for kiwi's all over the world :(
