Mineral Point has been plagued with weird activity for years. Not only was it the scene of the Mineral Point Vampire sightings in 1981, but it was also the area around where the Ridgeway Phantom was reported in the late 1800's. The phantom was named for the small crossroads town of Ridgeway and took many forms, frightening travelers as a headless man, an old woman, a ball of light and a number of spectral animals. The phantom appeared from nowhere and attacked passersby, until it came to the point that no one would travel the Ridge Road between Mineral Point and Blue Mounds alone... or unarmed. The origins of the ghost were traced back to 1840 when two young men were murdered at McKillip's Saloon in Ridgeway. A group of local toughs burned one boy to death in the fireplace and the other froze to death while trying to escape from town. Some believe that the Ridgeway Phantom departed when the town burned down in 1910... but others believe the spirit is still out there, lurking in the woods near Mineral Point!

There are a lot of weird things in Wisconsin, but only recently did I hear about the werewolves of Wisconsin. Most of the sightings are in southeastern Wisconsin around Jefferson County and in the Delavan and Elkhorn area. Apparently the fist werewolf sighting was in 1936 east of Jefferson. Another sighting in the same area occurred in 1964 and in 1972 there was another sighting in rural Jefferson County. Probably the best know werewolf sightings in Wisconsin center around an area near Delavan on Bray Road. This has resulted in the nickname of the Bray Road Beast. Linda Godfrey, a journalist who lies near Elkhorn has written a book about it called The Beast of Bray Road-Tailing Wisconsin's Werewolf. Last month, September 2005, Steve Grabo and Jan Day were interviewing Godfrey for a documentary based on her book.

In 1964 there was another sighting just two miles from the 1936 location. Dennis Fewless. Just after midnight, on his way home from work, his headlights caught an animal running across the road in front of him. It was large, 400 to 500 pounds, and dark brown. He said it was 7 to 8 feet tall. He returned the next day and could see where something had entered the cornfield, but no other evidence was found.



The Bray Road Beast has been sighted several times. One of the more interesting questions about this werewolf sighting is the relationships between the people who have sighted it.



It was first seen by 18 year old Doristine Gipson of Elkhorn, on October 31, 1999 (Yes, that is Halloween). She thought she had hit something with her car, got out to check and saw a dark hairy form running toward her. She quickly got back in her car. The beast jumped onto her trunk, but because of the wet surface was unable to hang on. She returned later with a young Trick or Treater and saw a large form on the side of the road.



When word of her encounter spread throughout the community, others reported encounters with the beast dating back to 1989. In 1989, Lorianne Endrizzi, had an experience just a half mile from Doristine's. She saw a figure by the side of the road. At first she thought it was a person, but upon closer (about six feet) observation she described it as a beast with grayish, brown hair, fangs and pointed ears. She also reported it had glowing yellow eyes.

half won't. or just view 2,000 pages it may increase your score and if your a regular member purchase premuim membership if you can it may help as well.

Also if you have a webcam set topic as "Please add and rate my stuff I have on my profile and portfolio. (If you have a portfolio. I have been stuck on some

levels myself for at least three days max it can be annoying but, eventually you will increase your level one way or another. This issue about down raiting

thats been happening a lot here on Vampire Rave is both good and bad here are the pros and cons if you have been down-rated.

It's just a number let it go



At leas someone viewed your page



Your CSS/HMTL is done well



Have a lot of good info about yourself



Good pictures of yourself on Portfolio



Cons:



You might go down a level



ruins your score



might have been blocked



might have been suspended



your page isn't done well



not a lot of info about your self



no pictures on your portfolio



Now there are some tests on different score levels I've heard they are pretty hard I haven't even got to take one yet myself but will evenetually get there.

So this is a paitent site if you are sick of waiting this is not the site for you sad to say or it might be good practice site for unpatient people to learn

better.

There has been so much drama lately on Vampire Rave in members webcam's if the host asks now drama please don't bring it up. Your only asking for trouble Karma is a bitch, it's really kinda pathetic that there is drama over the internet you can block them or not it will only provoke them even more. There are ways to prevent your situation from going any further.



1. Mute anyone who starts drama in your webcam chat



2. Block them if you must



3. Ask a higher rated member to help you



4. Take a break but don't let them win over you maybe a week off from VR will do a soul good



5. Just ignore them if they provoke you even further



I know this has been going on for months not naming any names because I am sure this happens to everyone on here every now and then. I only came on here for fun because Vampire Freaks is a boring ass site. I only look at drama starters as attention whores and assholes , I am mostly nice to everyone on here because I hate creating drama for someone who doesn't need it at the moment.
