I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, regardless if you celebrate Halloween or not. Logan and I didn't do much for Halloween. We were invited to Willow's for a Halloween party, but parking and driving in the Hollywood Hills on Halloween didn't sound all that appealing to me. Plus, we didn't have costumes. So, instead, we did a little shopping when he got off work, and then went to the Spot for a few hours to smoke hookah, then went home and spent the evening with Masque, watching Stranger Things. It was a nice, quiet night.
Saturday we hit up Spirit Halloween for half priced decor. He got me a Hocus Pocus blanket, a really pretty spell jar, and a lantern, we also got Mina a Harry Potter mug. Fun little things at a nice discount. We also went to the cemetery in LA that some of my family is buried at. He officially got to "meet" my great grandfather, great grandmother, great uncle, and my grandfather. Well, technically step-grandfather, but the only real grandfather I've ever known. I'm glad he could visit with me. And, as it was Día de los Muertos, the cemetery was so busy and a sea of orange, and yellow marigolds. I love to see it.
Sunday was just a rest day. Masque has been a bit of a monster at night, so sleep is hard to come by sometimes. So, having a whole day to pretty much just relax is much needed. I did want to go to the Nite concert at the Roxy, but I decided against it in the end, seeing how tired Logan was. I didn't want to keep him out late when he had work and has to be awake and alert. So, maybe when we move, as they're a Texas based band, we can see them there.
All-in-all, it's been a lovely weekend, as they always are. And now that the time has changed, and it's dark at 5, I am totally in my element. I love autumn and winter, give me all the darkness! I know I'm in the minority with that, but I'll never change. It just makes me so happy when it gets dark early.
