The happy man asks the hopeless man if he thinks it could be the end of the world. He calmly replies, yes. He has already lost everything, so has nothing to lose. The first man has everything to lose, so is shocked by the other's answer. Who then says, "Ppl brake down into two groups. When they experience something lucky, group #1 sees it as more than luck. More than coincidence. They see it as evidence that there is someone up there watching. Group #2 sees it as pure luck, a happy turn of chance. I'm sure there are those ppl in group 2 looking at [something unbelievable] in a suspicious manner. For them, the situation is 50/50. Could be bad, could be good. But deep down they feel that whatever happens, they are on their own. And that fills them w/fear. But then their are those in Group 1 when they see [something unbelievable], their looking at a miracle. Deep down they feel that whatever happens, there will be someone to help them. And that fills them w/hope. So what you have to ask yourself is which group are you? Are you the kind that sees signs, sees miracles; or do ppl just get lucky? Or, look at the question this way: is it possible there are no coincidences?" The happy man obviously said he was a miracle man. He then asks, "Which group are you?" Who says: "There is no one looking out for us. We are all alone."
